In-Season Training for Specialists
These two relatively short exercise circuits were designed by an NFL strength coach. I asked him to put together a routine that would challenge specialists balance, core strength and focus. If you quickly go through these movements without much self body-awareness, you will not benefit much. Try to complete every movement as efficiently as possible - without loss of balance or "wobbles". Before you know it, your kicking posture will improve, and ball will "jump off your foot" effortlesly.
Core board can be substituted with similar balance products. These exercises could also be performed on the ground (less - challenging).
I suggest performing the routines 4 times per week - alternating between circuit #1 and circuit #2.
