Kicker Warm Up Drill
Who is Ohio kicking camp for?
- Ohio Kicking Camp is recommended for kickers and punters of ages 12 to 19. Majority of athletes are in 14 to 17 age group.
- Kicker skill level varies from beginner kickers to more experienced kickers with several years of camp and playing experience. You will see older high school kickers blasting 50+ yard field goals. And you will see younger kickers fresh from the soccer field, starting to work on their kicking skills.
What will kickers learn?
- NFL-level kicking skills. There are technique components that all NFL kickers share.
- How to train like a professional kicker
- How good their kicking ability is compared to their peers
- Execution of game kicks – directional kickoffs, onside kicks, coffin corner punts, hurried punts, kicking field goals in bad weather, etc.
Is there college exposure for kickers at this event?
- Yes. Rising sophomore, junior, and senior kickers go through standardized charting session. If their performance is at a level that would generate college interest, we add them to top prospects page and we refer them to colleges that are interested in them.
Additional Ohio Kicking Camp Information
- Why our kicking camp? Because there are no kicking coaches on middle school, high school, or college football teams. So, what are you going to do when a coach gives you couple footballs and tells you to “go practice”? We teach you how to kick, how much to kick, how often to kick, how to make adjustments on windy days, how to train in the weight room, etc.
- Parents are welcome to stay and observe instruction and evaluation. Usually about half of parents stay and learn kicking.

Kicking Camp Cost – $300
There is a huge discount if you attend multiple camps in the same season (Sept. ’25 – Sept ’26). You do not need to sign up for multiple camps at once. If and when you sign up for 2nd, 3rd or 4th camp of the season, you will receive the discount.
1st camp – $300
2nd camp – $200
3rd camp – $100
4th camp – $50
$50 is due at registration. Remaining balance is due on the day of the event.
Kicker training in Ohio
- We host five annual full day kicking camps in Ohio – October in Ashland, December in Youngstown, March in Tiffin, June in Ashland, and July in Ashland. If you love road trips, coach Filipovic works with kickers in one on one setting in Chicago.
